📖 Verse of the Day
John 3:16 (NKJV)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
✨ Reflection: The Grace of God Through Salvation
The grace of God through salvation is one of the greatest revelations of His love for humanity. John 3:16 tells us plainly: God’s desire is that no one should perish. Instead, He wants all people to live with Him in glory for eternity.
When Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he disobeyed God’s loving instruction:
“…for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
— Genesis 2:17 (NKJV)
This wasn’t a trap—it was a protection. God was shielding humanity from the devastating aftermath of sin. And even before Adam sinned, God already had a redemptive plan in motion:
“…the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
— Revelation 13:8 (NKJV)
Before there was light, earth, or sky, Jesus was already appointed to redeem mankind. Because God cannot lie, the consequence of sin—death—had to be fulfilled. But instead of Adam dying, God gave Jesus, His only begotten Son, to take Adam’s place—and ours.
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
This is grace: God gave us what we did not deserve—salvation. And though the gift is free, we must receive it through faith:
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
— Romans 10:9 (NKJV)
Salvation is for all who believe. If you trust in Jesus, your eternal life is secured—not because of your works, but because of God’s grace through salvation.
🙏 Prayer
Lord God,
Thank You for the grace You have shown me through the gift of salvation. You did not spare Your own Son, but gave Him up for my redemption. Open my eyes to see the depth of Your love, and give me a fresh hunger for Your Word. Thank You for the Holy Spirit, my Helper and Teacher, who strengthens my faith and draws me closer to You. I believe in my heart that Jesus died and rose again—and I confess Him as Lord of my life. May I walk in the fullness of Your grace, now and always.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
